Description

Ikebana is a series of vases that draw inspiration from the traditional Japanese art of arranging flowers, with the principle of working with beautiful, clean lines and the aesthetic the interplay between vase, flowers, leaves and stems.
The vase is made from wheelthrown stoneware and sculpted by hand to give each item a unique character. The expression is reminiscent of a stone or shape that can be found in nature, where the flower naturally grows out of the shape. The exterior of the vase is left unglazed and polished after firing to achieve their tactile, soft character.

This item is handmade by Wildcrafted Studio in Stockholm. Each piece is uniquely crafted, variations in colour and size may occur.
